CSV ↔ JSON

Choose a direction before uploading. The first CSV row becomes field names, and CSV values are kept as JSON strings.

Settings

Up to 50,000 rows, 256 columns and 500,000 cells per sheet.

Supported JSON format

JSON must be an array of flat objects. Strings, numbers, true, false and null are accepted. Nested objects and arrays cause an error. Store large integer identifiers as quoted strings.

CSV does not store types. Numbers and booleans become text; null and missing fields become empty cells. A column is created for every key found.

CSV to JSON requires nonempty unique headers and at least one data row. Duplicate headers and extra values cause an error. JSON is read as UTF-8. For JSON to CSV, the automatic delimiter means a comma.
