How the photo fits the limit
The tool adjusts JPEG quality and reduces resolution if needed. Transparent areas become white. JPEG files that already fit the limit are kept as they are.
The limit applies to each file. For example, choosing 200 KB gives you JPEGs of up to 200,000 bytes each.
